2004 - White Dragon species

July, 2004. The final entry in my series of dragons would be the White Dragon kind, but after doing an impressive job with my feathered Sky dragon, I fell into a bit of a slump: How was I to top that? White dragons are like the capstone of my dragon species, viewed and regarded as the best type of dragon there is, despite that they really take second-place to all other dragon species in abilities. They fly, they swim, they can breathe fire, breathe ice, and bursts of electrical energy....

Yea, that is why they're considered the ultimate dragon. Not because they're ultimately specialized at any one thing, but because they're equally competent in everything that other dragons are known for. Such is the respect and deference to this type of dragon, some believe it's impossible to tell a lie in their presence.

As you can see, chromatically speaking White dragons aren't actually all that white, but more of an off-white color, a warmer, friendlier tint than they had back in 2000. And as hard as dragon scales are, the more reddish scales along their face, shoulders, and limbs are even more so, like a suit of armor for these warriors.

Dependable as an ally, formidable as a foe. Such concludes my 2004 series of dragons.
