Description
A native Bryyonian with some free time on his hands. Perhaps this is from their planet's Golden Age, long before the advances of Science divided their race into two warring tribes, and even longer before the prophecy of a Phazon meteor impact and the events of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
Bryyonians (also called Reptilicus) are some neat lizards, and the wall paintings on which their Lore is written are quite awesome. Which makes is all the more sad how the only ones you actually see in-game are mere savages driven mad by Phazon corruption.
Colored pencils (note to self: never use drafting pencils to do an art pencil's job again), about five hours, plus some digital cleanup after scanning.

Wow, this is very fantastic! I've been looking for art of the Bryyonians to use to help me write my Metroid fanfiction, and this is one of the best examples so far. Having to do a lot of research on the Bryyonians and Bryyo, I've found that the Bryyonians are quite fantastic! It is so sad to see them as devolved as they are in the game...
