Master Phoenix

The revised and remastered version of an old "faux stained glass" drawing originally made in 2002.

The original black construction paper had long since faded to a medium brown, and while the colors hadn't faded, they weren't exactly bright or vivid to begin with. But nothing that a bunch of India ink and heavier shading cannot fix, right? Plus maybe a fixup on some of those lines....

The story of this character remains the same: A bird of unmatched size and splendor, its body clothed in a rainbow of hues. Alas, the last Phoenix was cursed to die without making a nest for its successor, and hence the Phoenix passed into history and legend, with this being what the people claim it looked like.
